Tracy graduated from NC State University with a degree in Landscape Design and has been involved in the green industry in various roles, including NCNLA Past President, ANLA Program Committee, ANLA Landscape Board, and the NC Landscape Contractors Licensing Board. He is a registered Landscape Architect, NC Licensed General Contractor, NC Licensed Landscape Contractor, NC Licensed Pesticide Applicator, and a NC Certified Plant Professional. He has guest lectured at NC State University and Appalachian State University, and he designed the Olympic Soccer Stadium in Mauritania and the planting design around the NC State Capitol Building in Downtown Raleigh. He is a devoted family man and enjoys fly-fishing, camping, hiking, bow hunting, and running.
